our Commitment to Sustainability

At Bennett Lane Winery we are taking active steps to promote sustainability and responsible winemaking.  To that end we have implemented the following standards within our own vineyards as well as with our growers.  We feel that these practices not only help to produce exceptional grapes, but are also friendly to our environment here in the Napa Valley.  We take great pride in preserving this special place in California. 

We are proud to have received Napa Green Certification for both our Winery and Vineyards. The whole facility is certified, from production, to administration, to hospitality, and grape growing. We have implemented a minimum of 100 sustainability and environmental stewardship practices to: 

• Save energy and increase energy efficiency 

• Conserve water and increase water use efficiency 

• Reduce waste through recycling, composting and environmentally preferable purchasing 

• Drawdown GHG emissions and the winery’s carbon footprint
